Applications for the Presidential Scholarship of the Republic of Kazakhstan are now open

Attention 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduate students and 2nd-year master’s students!
Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov is accepting documents for the Presidential Scholarship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Required documents can be submitted via the SMART ARSU mobile application from January 14 to January 20, 2025.

Rules for awarding the Presidential Scholarship:

1. The scholarship is awarded to full-time students from the 3rd year of undergraduate studies and 2nd-year master’s students with excellent academic performance (A, A-) on both state-funded and self-funded programs.
2. The scholarship is granted to the following categories of students:
   1. Winners of national and international Olympiads, creative contests, sports competitions, festivals, or authors of discoveries and inventions.
   2. Those with publications in collections of scientific works, national, or international scientific journals.
   3. Students actively engaged in research work, with achievements confirmed by diplomas, certificates, or testimonials.
   4. Students actively participating in the social, cultural, and sports life of educational organizations.
3. The scholarship is awarded by order of the university rector based on the decision of the Academic Council.
4. The scholarship is granted for one academic period.
5. The scholarship may be awarded multiple times to the same individual, as per the decision of the Academic Council.
6. When awarding scholarships, candidates are selected according to the criteria outlined in points 1 and 2 of these rules. In cases of equal conditions, priority is given to:
   • Orphans and children without parental care.
   • Individuals with disabilities from childhood or children with disabilities.
