At the 12th Asian Age Group Championships in Aquatics, held in Bangkok from July 17 to 21, university student Meirzhan Kadyrali delivered an outstanding performance and became an Asian champion. Meirzhan Kadyrali is a second-year student at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. On 19 May 2026, the Head of State signed the new Law «On the Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan». The document came into force on 1 July.
