Zhubanov university and the Institute of archaeology of Azerbaijan sign a memorandum of cooperation

On March 3, a meeting was held between K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University and the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

During the event, which was attended by Rector Laura Karabasova, Institute Director Farhad Guliyev, and Deputy Director Zaur Gasanov, the parties discussed further opportunities for partnership between the two institutions.

A branch of the Alkey Margulan Institute was opened at Zhubanov University's Faculty of History, creating new prospects for scientific research and collaboration. The partnership plans include research internships for doctoral and master's students, joint archaeological expeditions involving scholars and students, and studies on the heritage of the Huns and early historical periods, among other initiatives.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation by both delegations.
