Zhubanov university and Heriot-Watt university: new partnership opportunities
During a working visit to Edinburgh, the leadership of Zhubanov University met with the new Principal of Heriot-Watt University, Stephen McLaughlin.
The meeting focused on upcoming collaborative plans, including student admissions for the 2025-2026 academic year and the organization of student placements in overseas campuses as part of the academic mobility program.
Additionally, Zhubanov University Rector, Laura Karabasova, met with students from the Aktobe campus who are currently studying at Heriot-Watt’s Edinburgh campus. She reviewed their academic achievements, living conditions, and the opportunities provided by the British university. Students shared their impressions of the academic environment, educational programs, and the faculty.
