The work of the Department of marketing and Communications is aimed at forming the image of the University, implementing the concept and strategy of the educational institution, increasing its competitiveness, public relations, providing branded products services.
Contributes to the coverage of information work on television, radio and periodicals of the republican, regional and city levels, bringing complete and comprehensive information to the media, their publication.
The goal is to inform the public about a wide range of activities and achievements of the university in the field of science and education, the formation and promotion of the image of the university.
Main tasks
- Creation and content of information flows related to the university's activities within the framework of the chosen information and image policy of the university;
- Participation in the formation of the image of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov and the dissemination and support among target groups (applicants, students, employees, partners, authorities) of information about the goals and objectives of the university through educational, scientific, innovative, international, educational and social activities;
- Implementation of constant operational interaction with the press services of state bodies, media representatives to inform the public about important events in the activities of the University administration;
- Information support of events held at the University;
- Organization of work on the provision of the Internet, mass media about the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov in order to expand the market of educational services and increase the efficiency of interaction with the target groups of the university (applicants, students, employees, partners, residents of the city, authorities);
- Systematic, continuous formation of a positive image of the university in the media;
- Ensuring the dissemination of information in the media and social networks;
- Forming relations with republican and local official mass media;
- Monitoring the reliability and relevance of information materials on the University's activities.
Functions
- Participation in the processing, formation and filling of the main content of the zhubanov.edu.kz site of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov;
- Constant updating of the content of the official website of the University;
- Control over electronic and print media on education and science (under the heading "media about us");
- Analysis of republican media materials, review and control of information related to the university's activities;
- preparation of annual and quarterly reports to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other higher bodies on the activities of the university (with a list of publications about the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov);
- Preparation of information materials, analytical references to thematic issues on behalf of the university rector to respond to requests from state bodies, other higher educational institutions and citizens;
- review and referral of stakeholders in accordance with the Management decision;
- Ensuring timely and full consideration of citizens' appeals, as well as sending responses to senders, taking into account the protection of confidential information;
- Planning and organization of information programs on the University's activities;
- Formation through the media of an objective attitude to the activities of the university before the public;
- Preparation of analytical reviews on seminars, conferences, forums to mass media;
- Dissemination of materials on the main directions of development of the University and its achievements in the mass media;
- Preparation of photo and video materials within the framework of news about the main events of the University's life;
- Preparation and distribution of press releases to the mass media;
- Creation of presentations, videos, printed and other image products about the activities of the University and its structures;
- Preparation and publication of the regional educational and Information newspaper" Zhubanov University";
- Zhubanov.edu.kz updating cognitive information on the official internet resource;
- Develop and post news, information materials on the official pages of the University in social networks.
