Within the framework of the Aktobe State Pedagogical Institute in 1974, the department "Physical Culture" of the philological faculty was opened, which accepted the first students.

In 1978, by the decision of the Academic Council of the Pedagogical Institute, the faculty "Physical Culture" was opened. The founder and first dean of the faculty was Veniamin Nikonorovich Peregudov Institute senior lecturer 1974-1979.

Peregudov Veniamin Nikonorovich - a resident of the city of Aktobe, was born on September 13, 1928 in the family of a teacher.

After graduating from an eight-year school in 1943 to continue his studies at 13 artillery schools, Veniamin Nikonorovich went to the city of Buzuluk.

In 1946 he entered the school of self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery in the city of Kotlas.

In April 1948, after one and a half years of study at the school, Peregudov was sent to the Aktobe regional commissariat, by order of the regional commissariat he was sent to study at the Kazakh sovereign

In 1954, Veniamin Nikonorovich was invited to work at a teacher's institute, where he became the head of the department of physical education.

After the transformation of the Institute of Teachers into the Aktobe Pedagogical Institute, he is appointed head of the Department of Physical Culture of this university.
