Zhubanov-university has several major sports facilities.
The sports complex No. 1 is located on A. Moldagulova Ave., 34. It was built in 1999 with an area of 1.062 sq. m. There is a large sports hall with a capacity of up to 100 students per class. In general, the sports complex is intended for training sessions, but it is also possible to hold competitions in mini-football, basketball, and volleyball. There is a gym, as well as a gym. There are sections for students in basketball, Sambo, judo, freestyle wrestling, Kazak kures, rock climbing, boxing, kettlebell lifting, arm wrestling and powerlifting.
Mini-football field with an area of 800 sq. m. which was presented on September 6, 2019, the size of 20x40 m., the field is covered with artificial green lawn, designed exclusively for training and playing football.
The climbing wall, which was installed in 2019 in the sports complex No. 1, does not interfere with physical training. Rock climbing is a popular sport. Rock climbing is an excellent tool for the development of all muscle groups. The climbing wall differs from standard physical exercises in that it affects absolutely the entire human body. This is one of the safest and less traumatic sports. This is due to the fact that rock climbing is a non — contact sport, in addition to everything, absolutely safe insurance systems are used.
The sports complex No. 2 is located on Zhubanov Brothers street., 263. It was built in 2006 with a capacity of 180 students per class. The advantage of this sports complex is that it is divided into 3 sports halls. The first one is intended for game sports such as basketball, volleyball, and handball. The second hall is a wrestling hall, designed for training in wrestling, gymnastics and general physical training. The third is a table tennis hall.
In 2020, this sports complex opened an office for intellectual sports-chess, draughts, togyzkumalak.
There is a shooting range where students practice shooting skills with an air rifle.
In winter, students are engaged in ski training at the stadium near the sports complex, since there is a ski base for this purpose.
The sports complex is equipped with stands for spectators and accommodates about 1,100 fans. It hosted the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in togyzkumalak, Taekwondo, Sambo, Greco-Roman wrestling, table tennis. This sports complex hosted the games and closing of the X summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan-2019.
In the evening, the University's coaches and teachers conduct sections for students in volleyball, table tennis, wrestling, chess, togyzkumalak, basketball, and handball.
The sports hall, which is located on Altynsarin street, 4, was built in 1984. It is intended for students of the Faculty of Economics and Law. In addition to faculty competitions in mini-football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, there are various competitions at the University level.
The sports hall, which is located on Grishin street,7, is intended for students of the Faculty of Philology, with a capacity of 60 students per class. The building was built in 2004, its area is 576 sq. m. the sports hall, as in others, can host games of mini-football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis.
The sports hall, which is located on Esset- Batyr street, 144 "A". It was built in 1972, with a capacity of 120 students per class. The sports hall is designed for mini-football, basketball, volleyball, there is a tennis hall, a gym for gymnastics, general physical training and intellectual sports.
