International Students
Foreign students at K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University represent over ten countries worldwide, including Germany, China, Kenya, India, Russia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan.
International students follow academic programs that are fully aligned with the University's curricula. A key resource for these students is the preparatory department, which offers traditional pre-university courses in Kazakh and Russian. Students can also participate in adaptation programs to better prepare for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies.
Throughout their studies, students and graduate researchers are actively engaged in the University's research activities, contributing to departmental scientific work and participating in the social, cultural, and athletic life on campus. Accommodation in the university dormitory is available for international students.
Information for foreign applicants
Upon arrival in the Republic of Kazakhstan, all foreign students (undergraduates, master students, and doctoral students) are required to notify through the E-konak application of their arrival in the Republic of Kazakhstan within 3 working days and then required to contact the Department of International Cooperation of the ARU and present a passport with a mark from the border control authority about their entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of entry for foreign students is always marked as "Study"! The following documents are required for migration registration in the Aktobe Department of the Migration Service:
- Medical insurance (original);
- A copy of the passport with translation, notarized;
- Certificate of fingerprinting of a foreigner or stateless person (biometric data);
- Student's IIN;
- Letter of consent of the home owner.
Foreign applicants enrolled in the University, but for various reasons did not leave the Republic of Kazakhstan after the end of the entrance tests, can hold a migration registration through the university upon the expiration of the period of stay registered earlier, if the purpose of the stay "STUDY" was indicated when filling it out.
Foreign students (students, master’s and doctoral students) from visa-free countries should provide the following documents to ICD:
- Copy of the passport with translation, notarized;
- Copy of the certificate of temporary registration;
- Copy of the medical insurance (the original is provided for verification);
- A copy of the certificate confirming that a foreigner or stateless person has undergone fingerprinting;
- Student's IIN;
- Photo 3,5х4,5 – 2 pieces;
- Questionnaire of foreign residents in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Information about the student (foreign student).
