At the 12th Asian Age Group Championships in Aquatics, held in Bangkok from July 17 to 21, university student Meirzhan Kadyrali delivered an outstanding performance and became an Asian champion. Meirzhan Kadyrali is a second-year student at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. During the championship, he represented the Kazakhstan National Team in the 4×100-meter relay and won a gold medal as a member of the national team. Congratulations!
On 19 May 2026, the Head of State signed the new Law «On the Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan». The document came into force on 1 July. The university library has received new books published based on the proceedings of an international scientific conference organized by the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI). One of the editors of the volume, “Big Data-Driven Innovations for Sustainable Cognitive Computing,” is Arulmurugan Ramu, Associate Professor at the Heriot-Watt University Aktobe Campus.
