Winners of the Kazakhstan togyzkumalak championship awarded
The Kazakhstan Championship in classical Togyzkumalak for men and women has concluded after 10 days of intense competition among the nation’s strongest players.
Today, the closing ceremony of the championship was held at Zhubanov University, where the winners were honored in a formal setting.
In the women’s classical category, the gold medal was won by Ayana Isakhan, representing the Abai district team. The silver medal went to Gulnar Bazaraliyeva from the Astana team, while bronze medals were awarded to Uldana Makhambetalin from the Kyzylorda region and Ansagan Kozhanasip from the Karaganda region.
In the men’s category, the gold medal was claimed by Darhan Anuarbekov from the West Kazakhstan regional team. The silver medal was earned by Rinat Kereibayev from the Pavlodar regional team, while bronze medals went to Yerasyl Abutalipov from Pavlodar and Beksultan Bostandykov from the Kyzylorda regional team.
