
The "Ǵylymǵa qadam" Project Has Launched
Ahead of International Women's Day on March 8, Zhubanov University has launched the "Ǵylymǵa qadam" project, aimed at supporting women in science. The project's goal is to help women resume their academic careers and find their place in the scientific field.
At the opening ceremony, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Lyudmila Myasnikova emphasized the importance of mentorship and family support on the path to science and wished the participants success.
Speakers, including Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Aigulden Togaybayeva, Senior Lecturer, PhD in Education, Candidate of Philological Sciences Asel Zhakim, and Director of the Department of Science and Innovation Zakhira Nugaeva, shared valuable advice and personal experiences with the participants. They discussed how to balance science and family, as well as key aspects of personal growth and transformation.
It is noteworthy that 20 women from the Aktobe region were selected for the program. In the next stages, lectures and practical seminars will be organized to develop participants' research skills and prepare them for doctoral studies. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in science and enhance their professional qualifications.
This important initiative will improve access to postgraduate education programs, strengthen scientific knowledge, and support doctoral-level preparation.
