
Meeting with representatives of the General prosecutor's office held at Zhubanov university
An online meeting between students of K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University and representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held as part of the "Law and Order" initiative. The event aimed to increase legal awareness among youth, prevent offenses, and clarify legal requirements.
The meeting was attended by:
Zhasulan Daulembaev, Head of the Department for Supervision and Coordination of Crime Prevention at the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Botakoz Zhalekeshova, Chief of Juvenile Police of the Aktobe Region Police Department, Police Major.
Yerkin Tastankulov, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work.
Zhasulan Daulembaev spoke about state-level efforts to prevent crimes and ensure compliance with legal norms.
"The President of Kazakhstan has emphasized that law and order must be the foundation of both the state and society. The main goal of today’s meeting is to explain legal norms to young people. You need to understand what constitutes a crime, what falls under administrative violations, and what punishments apply. We have also focused on crime prevention measures," he stated.
The discussion covered public safety, crime prevention, cybercrime threats among youth, and child protection policies. Botakoz Zhalekeshova elaborated on youth crime prevention and presented the key areas of police work. Meanwhile, Yerkin Tastankulov highlighted the university’s initiatives to strengthen students’ legal education.
At the end of the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed answers from legal experts.
