II regional olympiad “Matematikalyq tartys” held at Zhubanov university
From April 3 to 5, 2025, Zhubanov University hosted the II Regional Olympiad “Matematikalyq Tartys,” dedicated to Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Honorary Professor of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov — M. U. Akhmet.
The Olympiad was held among students of "Mathematics" educational programs from higher education institutions in the Western region. The competition lasted three days, during which each team participated in five challenges and demonstrated their knowledge.
Participating teams, each consisting of 4 students, represented the Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Esenov, Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov, the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after K. A. Yasawi, and Zhubanov University.
In the “Matematikalyq Tartys” Olympiad, teams competed not only in solving problems but also in defending and justifying their solutions. Participants were evaluated based on their level of knowledge and the speed of solving tasks.
According to the results, the team that won first place received certificates granting a 100% tuition discount for one year of master's studies, second place received a 70% discount, and third place — a 50% discount.
