Students contributed to environmental protection through art

Today, Zhubanov University hosted a unique and meaningful exhibition. The ecological art installation exhibition "Qaldyqsyz shyǵarmashylyq", organized by the student organization ArtHouse, became an important cultural event demonstrating the connection between art and ecology.

The exhibition featured creative works by students made from recycled materials and natural resources. The authors emphasized ecological responsibility, combining the idea of giving household waste a second life with artistic expression.

The main goal of the exhibition was to raise awareness about the importance of caring for the environment and promoting ecological sustainability. Through their artwork, young artists aimed to depict harmony between nature, humanity, and society. These projects showed that art is not only an aesthetic tool but also a powerful medium with social and environmental significance.

Third-year students of the Visual Arts, Art Labor, Graphics and Design program, Almanur Mukhanbediyarova and Aktylek Erkinova, sought to convey humanity’s responsibility to the planet through their installations.

"We used newspaper clippings, plastic bottles, and paper waste in our artworks. One of our pieces depicts a person hugging the Earth, symbolizing the connection between humanity and the planet. Our goal is to promote environmental protection, eco-education, and global responsibility through recycling household waste," the students explained.

The "Qaldyqsyz shyǵarmashylyq" exhibition gave a strong boost to the development of environmental awareness among youth, promoting the ideas of sustainable development and responsible consumption. During the event, visitors witnessed how art and ecology can interact, noting that such initiatives breathe new life into creativity.
