Zhubanov university students participate in “Taza Qazaqstan” festival

Active students of Zhubanov University – Student Government President Akbota Koptileu and founder of the eco-volunteer movement “Eco Madeniet” Temirlan Zholdybay – took part in the “Taza Qazaqstan” Festival, held with the participation of the Head of State, contributing to important environmental initiatives.

The festival served as the final event of the 2024 Republican environmental campaign “Taza Qazaqstan”. During the event, active participants and organizations that made a significant contribution to environmental protection were honored. Volunteers who showed exceptional initiative in ecological efforts received special recognition from the President.

Akbota Koptileu shared her impressions of the festival:
“In his speech, our President emphasized the importance of increasing environmental literacy and personal responsibility for the future of our country. His words truly inspired the youth. Maintaining environmental cleanliness is a duty for each of us. At our university, many activities were held as part of the “Clean Kazakhstan” campaign. The ‘Clean Thursday’ initiative is held weekly, every Thursday. Additionally, bicycle parking areas have been installed near university buildings. Several eco-clubs have been established at Zhubanov University, such as “Eco Madeniet”, “EcoLeaders EconLaw”, and “Green Heart”. Various conferences and forums have also been organized. We aim to continue these initiatives and further promote environmental awareness and responsibility,” said the student.
