On May 20, 2025, a job fair for graduates was held, organized by the Akimat of the Aktobe Region, the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and K. Zhubanov University. The event brought together around 50 organizations that presented nearly 1000 job openings.
Gulmira Berdagalieva, Chief Specialist of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Aktobe Region, noted that, in accordance with the President’s instructions, special conditions have been established for young professionals entering public service:
“Today, we are offering more than 60 vacancies. HR specialists from 12 districts and representatives of the regional akimat are taking part. We informed graduates that top students — those who studied on a state grant and have a GPA of at least 3.33 — have the opportunity to be directly appointed to entry-level positions in district and rural administrations,” she said.
Vladimir Sukhoruchenko, Deputy Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Aktobe Region, emphasized the importance of the fair for young specialists and employers. According to him, there is a growing demand for professionals in the fields of artificial intelligence and information technology.
During the event, graduates submitted their resumes and took part in career counseling sessions. Dimash Serikbayev, a fourth-year student majoring in “Public and Local Administration,” shared his plans to join the civil service in the Temir District Akimat and expressed gratitude to the organizers.
The job fair provided graduates with the opportunity to find employment matching their qualifications and gain valuable insights into effective job search strategies and current trends in the labor market.
