The Agency for Financial Monitoring held the final stage of the National Olympiad on Financial Security in the “Law and Order” category.
More than 3,000 students from different regions of Kazakhstan took part in the competition, and 40 of the best participants advanced to the final round.

Among the finalists was Janel Amangali, a second-year student of the Computer Engineering program at Heriot-Watt University Aktobe Campus.

“The Olympiad consisted of four categories. I took part in the ‘Information Security’ category. Out of 3,000 students, I made it to the top 40 and participated in the final in Astana. A special evening was organized for the finalists, where we received autographed books from Dimash Kudaibergen,” — said Janel.

The Olympiad was organized with the support of Maqsut Narikbayev University, AML Academy – Academy of Financial Monitoring, the OSCE Programme Office in Astana, and representatives of the International Network Institute for Financial Security.
