III International Forum “Healthy Generation — Nation’s Wealth” Held at Zhubanov University

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the III International Forum “Healthy Generation — Nation’s Wealth” was held at K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University as part of the ten-day campaign «Отбасы – тәрбие».The aim of the event was to present effective strategies and solutions aimed at improving the quality of education and providing psychological support to young people in the context of global change.

The large-scale event brought together high-level psychologists, experts from UNESCO, ISESCO, and the United Nations, representatives of youth policy institutions, the National Commission, local authorities, law enforcement agencies, as well as scientists from nearly 15 universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the United Kingdom.Rector of the University and moderator of the forum, Laura Karabassova, wished the participants success and emphasized that this event serves not only as a platform for discussing pressing issues but also for initiating concrete actions.

During the plenary session, Akerke Abylaikhan, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, highlighted the importance of timely psychological support for young people:

«Today, the psychological health of young people is one of the most pressing issues in our society. Various social, family, and personal challenges inevitably affect their mental well-being. Psychological support is not only about treatment or counseling — it’s about building trust and creating the feeling that no young person is alone. If we can provide timely support, we will make their lives easier and open the way to a successful future,»— said she.

Zhuldyzai Iskakova, Deputy Chairperson of the National Commission for Women’s Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of Kazakhstan, focused on initiatives put forward by the Commission as part of the implementation of the President’s instructions announced at the National Kurultai:

«Factors affecting the safety of children and youth are always in the spotli ofght. In particular, concrete initiatives are being implemented to protect women’s reproductive health, ensure digital safety, and prevent suicide. Quality education and upbringing of young people are a shared responsibility of the state and parents. It is essential to establish effective collaboration between governmental and public organizations,»— emphasized Zhuldyzai Iskakova.

Within the framework of the forum, expert discussions were also held, presenting strategies for protecting youth mental health, adapting the education system to modern requirements, and improving risk management.
