Alikhan Zhaksylyk, Master’s Student of Zhubanov University, Became a Champion of the Republican Project Mecenat.kz

Alikhan Zhaksylyk, a young writer and master’s student of Zhubanov University, was named among the best participants of the national literary project Mecenat.kz.

He was awarded in the nomination «Best Novel about Kazakhstan» and became the recipient of a lifetime monthly scholarship of $500.

This year marks the fourth time the competition has been held. Among the six works that reached the final, Alikhan Zhaksylyk’s novel «Тургенев көшесіндегі үй жұмысқа қабылдайды» was recognized as the winner. The work masterfully reflects the lives, social challenges, and inner worlds of people living in the bustle of the city.

This achievement is a testament to the young writer’s deep love for literature, his creative dedication, and his perseverance. The victory of the master’s student is also a great source of pride for Zhubanov University.
