The Summer School “SUMMER SCIENCE SCHOOL-2025” Has Started
On June 9, 2025, Zhubanov University launched its traditional summer school for teachers and researchers — “SUMMER SCIENCE SCHOOL-2025.” About 60 university faculty members are taking part in this large-scale event.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Rakhym Beknazarov, noted that this initiative is an important step towards enhancing scientific potential, mastering modern research tools, and fostering professional development.
Throughout the program, participants will attend various seminars, workshops, and training sessions. Experts from Clarivate Analytics and leading researchers from Nazarbayev University will also deliver special guest lectures.
During the summer school, participants will learn how to enhance their research publication activity, develop strategies for journal selection, improve citation indexes, and effectively work with international scientific databases. In addition, they will gain practical skills in using artificial intelligence in research, managing bibliographies (system Zotero,Mendeley), and developing scientific articles on the LaTeX/Overleaf platform.
Participants will also become familiar with all stages of research — from preparing grant applications to implementing scientific projects. The program will further cover topics of research ethics and methodology related to conducting studies and presenting results.
In terms of career opportunities, attendees will receive valuable information about the Bolashak International Scholarship, the Best University Teacher competition, and pathways for commercializing scientific research.
It is worth noting that the summer school will run until June 20.
