The Green Future is Welcome Today
On the initiative of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, from 9 to 13 June was held the ecocamp for students nicknamed «Жасыл болашақ: Экологиялық мәдениетті бірге қалыптастырамыз» (“Green Future: Together forumed ecological culture”).
35 pupils from 6 schools took part.
18 young activists received a special certificate.
Theory + practice + inspiration = green consciousness
In the ecocamp, which took part specialists in ecology and students club area, participants:
– learned to sort waste,
– trained in conscious consumption and environmental protection,
– planted flowers in the greenhouse and worked with soil,
– learned about eco-activity and leadership.
At the end of the week, highly active participants were awarded.
«Жасыл болашақ» — an important step in raising a generation responsible for nature. A clear example of the partnership between university and schools!
