Archaeological work at the Kuruk Oba kurgan will continue

Scientists and students of the Faculty of History of Zhubanov University, together with researchers from the Margulan Institute of Archaeology and the University of Michigan (USA), conducted archaeological excavations at the Kuruk Oba burial ground located in the Oiyl district.

Today, scientists from the Margulan Institute of Archaeology and the University of Michigan visited Zhubanov University and met with the rector, Laura Karabassova. During the meeting, they shared the results of the archaeological expedition and noted that further research will be carried out on the basis of the excavations.

Examinations of the discovered remains are planned as part of the study.
