The Scientific Council Summarized the Academic Year and Outlined Future Plans

 

On July 1, 2025, Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov held a regular meeting of its Scientific Council.

During the session, the Council reviewed a number of important issues aimed at improving the university’s scientific achievements and educational process. 

In particular, members discussed the current state and development plan of academic activities, the contribution of the teaching staff to scientific progress, the work plan for the 2025–2026 academic year, admission to fee-based programs, amendments to internal regulations, and the awarding of academic titles.

Faculty members were also honored during the meeting. Murat Makhambetov, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology, received the badge “For Merits in the Development of Science” from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Earth and Environmental Protection.

Other faculty members received associate professor titles as well:Abdrashid Raimbergenov, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Music and Choreography – in the specialty Art;

Gulmira Shangytbaeva, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics and Information Technology – in Computer Science and Informatics;Altynshash Bekbauova, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics – in Mathematics;Zhumazhan Kulmagambetova, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics and Information Technology – in Computer Science and Informatics.

Members of the Council also shared their opinions and proposals on the agenda items. The university’s key tasks for the upcoming academic year were identified, along with specific steps to strengthen its scientific potential.
