The Academic Council Sets New Goals

At Zhubanov University, the first extended meeting of the Academic Council in the new academic year was held. The meeting defined the directions for the university’s further development based on the priorities outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Rector of the university, Laura Karabassova, presented the strategic goals of the institution and gave specific instructions.

In particular, the tasks include increasing the share of artificial intelligence in pedagogical educational programs, strengthening the practical component of programs in computer engineering, attracting scientists and foreign professors in the field of artificial intelligence, developing research projects relevant to the regional economy, prioritizing the development of small and medium-sized businesses and investment attractiveness, continuing the effective implementation of the Al Sana program, as well as supporting environmental awareness and fostering the creative potential of young people.

As part of these important tasks, it was announced that salaries at the university will be increased: by up to 30% for service staff, up to 35% for faculty, and up to 20% for other categories of employees.

These steps are aimed at defining the strategic direction of the university’s development and bringing the quality of education and science to a new level.
