Zhubanov University Welcomed a Two-Time World Champion
Aziza Salimgoreva, a 4th-year student and winner of the World Championship for Girls in Universal Combat held in the Republic of Uzbekistan, was warmly welcomed by the students of Zhubanov University.
The university and faculty management congratulated the student of the «Physical Education and Sports» program and extended their best wishes.
The athlete, who strives to bring honor to her name and her country, began practicing universal combat three years ago. In 2024, she competed at the World Cup in Antalya, Turkey, where she became a champion. Before that, she was involved in sports tourism and taekwondo, winning various competitions.
«For me, it was a great responsibility and an honor to represent Kazakhstan and Zhubanov University at the World Championship,» said Aziza.
We wish the young athlete continued success and many more victories on the champion’s podium!
