
New Opportunities in Career Guidance: Strengthening the Link Between Schools and Universities
On October 16, a meeting of career guidance specialists from the Aktobe region was held.
The purpose of the event was to create a platform for sharing experiences, developing new methods and psychological approaches, improving the system that helps students make informed and purposeful career choices, and strengthening cooperation between educational institutions.
During the meeting, participants were introduced to modern approaches to career guidance, and experts shared practical recommendations.
In addition, representatives of the Heriot-Watt University campus presented information about educational opportunities and organized laboratory workshops in various engineering fields.
Anna Gnidenko, Head of the Center for Health and Well-being, conducted a practical training session and emphasized the importance of internal motivation and self-awareness in professional development.
The event highlighted the importance of career guidance and provided an opportunity for nearly 200 specialists to exchange experiences and learn new techniques.
At the end of the meeting, participants received certificates.
