Chaos and Instability in Mathematics: Lecture by Marat Akhmet
Professor Marat Akhmet from the Middle East Technical University (Turkey) delivered a guest lecture for students and faculty of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics on the topic «The Uncertainty Principle for Ultra Poincare and Lorenz Chaos.»
During the lecture, he provided a detailed overview of instability and chaos modes in dynamic systems, focusing on complex phenomena in mathematics. In 2024, his book «Ultra Poincare Chaos and Alpha Labeling» was published, presenting the results of his extensive research in this field.
Since 1998, Professor Akhmet has been conducting research in Turkey and has also taught at universities in Canada (University of Waterloo), France (La Rochelle University), and Saudi Arabia (King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals).
Recognized as an innovator in mathematical theory, he received a prestigious scientific award of Turkey in 2015. His research and academic experience serve as an inspiration for young scientists and educators, contributing significantly to a deeper understanding of chaos and instability in mathematics.
