Strong Universities — Factories of the Future
«Kazakhstan strives to become part of the global education market.» These words by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reflect the nation’s concrete course toward bringing the country’s higher education system up to international standards.According to the President, Kazakhstan has established partnerships with 40 leading universities worldwide, and 33 foreign university branches are currently operating in the country. This marks a new stage of academic integration and is the direct result of educational reforms.
The Head of State emphasized the significant role of multilingualism and academic openness in enhancing the country's competitiveness. While many foreign university branches offer instruction in English, Russian, and Chinese, all institutions also include Kazakh language and the history of Kazakhstan as compulsory subjects. This approach enables international students to better understand the country’s national culture and spiritual values, fostering deeper cultural appreciation.
