Clean Kazakhstan: The Role of Youth
As part of the nationwide campaign «Таза Қазақстан»– «Clean Kazakhstan», the forum «Digital Clean Kazakhstan» was held, aimed at promoting environmental awareness.
The main goal of the event was to foster ecological consciousness in society, draw attention to environmental protection issues, and broadly emphasize the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces.
The forum brought together school students and representatives of youth organizations from the city of Aktobe. During the event, participants were introduced to the main directions of the «Clean Kazakhstan» program, and ways to support environmental initiatives through digital solutions were discussed.
The participants also viewed informational sessions and videos and were introduced to smart bins (Smart Bin), which contribute to the development of ecological culture.
In this area, the student ecological association «Экожасақ» and faculty-based environmental organizations are actively involved. They participate in various ecological initiatives, such as the collection and sorting of recyclable waste. In addition, as part of the weekly «Clean Thursday» campaign, work is carried out to clean campus grounds and classrooms.
