At K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University, a classroom was opened in honor of Aibolgan Kenzhegulova – the author of the first «Әліппе» (Alphabet) in independent Kazakhstan, candidate of pedagogical sciences, and associate professor.

Aibolgan Kenzhegulova, the creator of the «Үйрен-бөліс» («Learn and Share») project, worked as a lecturer and head of the department. During the years of Kazakhstan’s sovereignty, she engaged in new initiatives to modernize the educational program. She developed an alternative curriculum for primary school and became the author of 15 textbooks, including Әліппе, Қазақ тілі және сөз өнері («Kazakh Language and the Art of Word»), Қазақ балалар әдебиеті («Kazakh Children’s Literature»), and Ата дәстүр («Native Traditions»).

For her contributions to education and science, she was awarded the medal «For Distinguished Labor», the Ybyray Altynsarin badge, and the honorary badge «For Services to Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan». She also received the state grant «Best University Teacher».

The commemorative event was attended by the university administration, faculty members, relatives, and colleagues of Aibolgan Kenzhegulova.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Lyudmila Myasnikova and veteran professor Sembay Ergaluly shared memories of her life and scientific work.

The classroom, aimed at professional development for young teachers and the promotion of the teacher’s life and work, is equipped with modern equipment, a memorial plaque, her scientific publications, and books from her personal library.
