In this regard, Rector Laura Karabasova held an open meeting with students of Heriot-Watt University, during which they exchanged views on the educational process, academic opportunities, and international programs.

During the meeting, the Rector emphasized global trends in modern education systems and highlighted the university’s role in preparing competitive specialists in electrical power engineering, computer engineering, petroleum engineering, and energy management. Students were also informed about academic mobility programs with international campuses, dual-degree initiatives, and opportunities for internships at major partner companies.

Students asked questions about the university’s infrastructure, laboratory facilities, and academic programs.

The Rector praised the students’ engagement and enthusiasm in their studies, noting that the university provides all the necessary conditions for their professional growth.

At the end of the meeting, the Rector shared future plans aimed at improving the quality of education and invited students to take an active part in the university’s new initiatives.
