Legal Literacy as a Foundation for Public Order
The Deputy Akim of the Aktobe Region and representatives of law enforcement agencies met with students as part of the “Law and Order” initiative to explain the importance of preventing offenses among youth, strengthening legal culture, and maintaining public order.
The event was attended by Deputy Akim of the Aktobe Region Zholdas Batyrkhan, Deputy Head of the Aktobe Region Police Department Police Colonel Ardana Saimagambetov, First Deputy Prosecutor of the Aktobe Region Talgat Alibayev, Head of the Department of the Penal Correction System for the Aktobe Region Shaimerden Yesenkeldiev, and Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Narkozy Kartzhan.
During the meeting, law enforcement representatives focused on the most common types of offenses among youth and explained ways to prevent them. The speakers emphasized that legal literacy among young people plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and stability of society. In addition, comprehensive information was provided on issues of legal responsibility, maintaining public order, online safety, prevention of cybercrime, as well as administrative and criminal liability.
Law enforcement officers also presented specific statistical data and real-life examples and shared practical advice with students regarding the issues discussed.
