Youth Platform: National Values and Social Responsibility
Young people and regional activists gathered at an open youth platform to discuss unity, responsibility, and the promotion of national values in society. The meeting brought together the regional governor, representatives of law enforcement agencies, and experts from the fields of education, arts, and business.
Aida Kadyn, a third-year student at Heriot-Watt University, delivered a speech on «Unity and Solidarity,» emphasizing the importance of cohesion, mutual understanding, national values, and serving the community. The Aktobe campus of Heriot-Watt University, where Aida studies, is a leading technical institution introducing internationally recognized engineering and IT education to the region. The campus offers dual-degree programs, lectures by international professors, opportunities for academic mobility in Edinburgh and Malaysia, and modern industry-oriented curricula.
During the meeting, the Akim of Aktobe Region, Askhat Shakharov, spoke about the significance of the country's independence and encouraged young people to actively participate in public initiatives.
The event also addressed issues of patriotic education, diligence, and the prevention of legal violations.
The establishment of this youth platform contributes to strengthening social responsibility among young people and increasing their engagement in the public life of the region.
