Grants and UNT: Expanding Opportunities for State-Funded Education

An informational meeting dedicated to the Unified National Testing (UNT) and state educational grants for 2026 was held at Zhubanov University.
The event brought together representatives of the city Department of Education, members of Zhubanov University’s Board, as well as specialists from Heriot-Watt University and Global College, who presented important and up-to-date information for parents.

During the meeting, specialists highlighted the opportunity to apply for a state grant to study at Heriot-Watt University based on the results of the UNT, which will take place in January and March. This opens new prospects for graduates to receive high-quality, internationally recognized education in engineering and technical fields, as well as to participate in academic mobility programs across Heriot-Watt campuses in Scotland, Malaysia, and Dubai.

Speakers provided detailed explanations to parents regarding the 2026 UNT format, the grant application process, quotas, competitive requirements, psychological preparation for graduates, and key aspects of choosing a major. Parents also asked questions about academic programs and minimum required scores.

At the end of the event, parents were given a tour of the campus, and the admissions office held consultations on each educational program.
