A System of Open Dialogue and Continuous Support
As an important social institution, the university places strong emphasis not only on education and research, but also on open communication with students and their psychological well-being. In this context, the mentoring system plays a key role.
Within this framework, Rector Laura Karabasova held a meeting with university mentors. During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Affairs Narkozy Kartzhan presented an overview of the mentoring system, its main areas of work, achieved results, and future plans.
In her address, the Rector highlighted the importance of mentors in supporting students and emphasized that the university consistently supports their professional development and career growth. She also noted that continuous learning and experience sharing are essential for effective mentoring and wished the mentors success in their work.
The mentoring system was introduced at the university in 2023 and is currently being implemented as an integrated approach to providing academic, social, and psychological support to students.
