Scientific Capacity and Education Quality: Zhubanov University Annual Report
An extended meeting of the Academic Council was held at K. Zhubanov University to review the results of 2025.
During the meeting, Chair of the Board – Rector Laura Karabassova presented the university’s annual report and outlined the key measures taken to improve the quality of education and strengthen research capacity, as well as the results achieved.
Special attention was given to faculty development and increased funding for research. Creating favorable conditions for human capital remains a priority of the academic environment. Salary increases for staff, renovation of university buildings, and modernization of facilities clearly demonstrate the progress made.
Representatives of regional enterprises and partner organizations participating in the Academic Council meeting highly assessed the university’s role in training competitive and in-demand specialists. They also emphasized the contribution of the Heriot-Watt campus to strengthening the region’s engineering potential.
In addition, within the framework of the Year of Working Professions announced by the Head of State, several university employees were awarded letters of appreciation for their contribution to ensuring the stable operation of the university’s engineering infrastructure.
