Zhubanov University and the University of Minnesota Launch a Joint Research Center

As part of a strategic partnership between Zhubanov University and the University of Minnesota (USA), a joint initiative — the Center for the Development of International Research Competencies — has officially begun its work. The project aims to build a sustainable research ecosystem in the country by supporting researchers at all stages of their careers and strengthening the institutional foundations of scientific activity.

Participants in the program were selected by both partner universities, reflecting the high academic standards and strong content of the course. The program covers key areas such as modern research methodology, data analysis and interpretation, academic writing, preparation of publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, as well as opportunities for participation in international research projects and grant programs.

The course is delivered using a “train-the-trainer” model. After gaining theoretical knowledge and practical research skills, program participants will go on to mentor other researchers across the country and provide ongoing methodological support.
