Scientific Results Reviewed and New Objectives Set
A meeting of the Academic Council was held at the University. During the meeting, the results of research activities for 2025 were summarized and priority areas for 2026 were discussed.
The meeting addressed several topics, including the effectiveness of research projects, publication activity, mechanisms for international cooperation, and support for young researchers.
In 2025, a total of 37 grant-funded projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education were implemented. University researchers published 235 articles in international scientific journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.
As a result of the research activities, seven utility model patents were granted by the National Institute of Intellectual Property.
In addition, the Council discussed aligning higher and postgraduate education programs with the state mandatory education standards for the 2026–2027 academic year, as well as proposals for amendments and additions to the rules for student admission.
The Council also approved dissertation research topics, the list of master’s students admitted for the winter intake of the 2025–2026 academic year, their academic supervisors and reviewers, as well as the candidates for domestic and international consultants for doctoral students.
Following the meeting, specific initiatives were identified aimed at improving academic quality, strengthening the University’s scientific and innovation potential, and enhancing the effectiveness of management.
