Heriot-Watt Campus Student in Aktobe Awarded the «Shapagat» Medal
In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on awarding state honors, Aida Vitalyevna Kadyn, a third-year student of the Aktobe campus of Heriot-Watt University, located at Zhubanov University, has been awarded the «Shapagat» medal.
Aida Vitalyevna is the head of the Kazakh language club «Soyle», which operates within the framework of the republican project «Menin Elim – Menin Tilim»(«My Country – My Language»). She actively participates in volunteer initiatives aimed at promoting the state language and supporting citizens who wish to learn it.
The «Shapagat» medal is awarded to citizens for active and effective charitable work, kindness, and contributions to public initiatives.
