Strategic Development and Image Policy

At the latest meeting of the Academic Council, participants discussed current issues related to the university’s strategic development and image policy. The meeting was attended by members of the Academic Council, heads of departments, and university staff.

Dastan Khussainov, Member of the Management Board and Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Digitalization, presented a report on the university’s 2025 strategic planning targets. He outlined the progress made in achieving the main indicators.

The report focused on the development of research and innovation, international cooperation and internationalization, as well as the university’s efforts to educate well-rounded students guided by universal values.

Yerbol Shyma, the university’s Press Secretary and Official Representative, spoke about the role of the university’s official online platforms in shaping its public image. He paid particular attention to the university website and digital platforms as key tools of the university’s information policy.

He also highlighted the work carried out to improve the quality of online content, create a more user-friendly interface, organize news more effectively, and strengthen communication with the audience.

In addition, the meeting addressed issues related to increasing transparency, expanding public awareness of the university’s activities, and making more effective use of modern digital tools.

During the meeting, Associate Professor certificates were awarded to Roza Izimova. PhD diplomas were also presented to Aigerim Tankeyeva, Guldana Nauryzbaikyzy, and Ainur Kushchanova.

At the end of the meeting, participants exchanged views and put forward several proposals. The Academic Council took the reports into account and outlined further steps to improve the university’s performance indicators and strengthen its information and image policy.
