Zhubanov Team Wins the Western Regional Student Sports League
The university futsal team became the champion of the western regional stage of the Student Sports League among higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the group stage of the competition, held on April 4–5, the team played against students from Oral and Atyrau.
In the semifinal, the Zhubanov team defeated West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University named after Zhangir Khan with a score of 5–1.
In the final, the team drew with Atyrau University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov and secured victory in the penalty shootout.
