New Approaches in Combating Corruption: Transparency, Accountability and Prevention

A round table discussion was held to consider the main directions of a new program document aimed at combating corruption.

The event was attended by Salauat Muksimov, Gulkasima Suentayeva, Alibek Bayneshov, as well as representatives of local executive and law enforcement bodies, non-governmental organizations, the scientific community, and public figures.

During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to improving anti-corruption policy, strengthening prevention mechanisms, and increasing transparency and accountability in the public service system. They also presented proposals on the key priorities of the new program document and effective ways of its implementation.

Scientific and expert support for the development of the draft law was provided by Ainur Nurutdinova and Akylbek Nurlin.

In this regard, the university is consistently working on strengthening the principles of academic integrity. In 2024, as a member of the Academic Integrity League, the university was one of the first regional higher education institutions to chair this organization.

Today, the university has an effective compliance service that implements a set of measures to identify and prevent corruption risks.
