Lifelong Learning: Participants of the “Silver University” Receive Certificates
Another academic season of the “Kumis University” (“Silver University”) project has been successfully completed. This project, designed for citizens aged 50 and above, is aimed at promoting the concept of lifelong learning.
In 2026, 100 participants successfully completed the program, improving their skills in Kazakh and English languages, legal, financial, and digital literacy, sewing, Togyzkumalak, as well as Eastern dance and personal development. Among them are representatives of the older generation who have been participating in the project for several years.
The average age of participants in the three-month course was 66, while the oldest participant was 79 years old.
During the certificate award ceremony, participants expressed their gratitude to the university staff and emphasized the importance of continuing the “Silver University” social project for the benefit of society.
