Parents and Family Psychology

The university, in cooperation with the Commission on Women and Family and Demographic Policy under the regional Akim, organized a seminar-training for parents. The event was aimed at building harmonious relationships between parents and children, strengthening emotional bonds within families, and supporting children’s psychological well-being.

The seminar brought together experienced psychologists and specialists in the prevention and correction of addictive behavior. In addition to theoretical insights, they shared practical recommendations based on real-life cases. Participants were introduced to modern approaches to parenting, effective communication strategies, and ways to manage behavior in difficult and crisis situations.

More than 150 parents who attended the seminar received informational materials and practical guidelines on supporting children’s mental health, strengthening family relationships, and promoting personal development.

Interactive discussions helped establish an open dialogue between parents and specialists. This contributed to stronger cooperation in raising the younger generation, improving their psychological well-being, and reinforcing the role of the family.
