Honoring Dedicated Citizens

A ceremonial event dedicated to May 7 — Defender of the Fatherland Day — was held at the university to honor representatives of professions who contribute to the security and stability of the country.

In her welcoming speech, Rector Laura Karabassova noted that Defender of the Fatherland Day is a significant occasion that highlights the importance of national defense and the country’s security system. She also emphasized that the strategic partnership between the university and government institutions plays an important role in promoting patriotism and civic responsibility among young people.

The event was attended by heads of departments, members of the regional veterans’ council, faculty members, and representatives of government agencies that maintain long-term cooperation with the university in ensuring regional security and public stability within the framework of the «Law and Order» principle.

Alongside representatives of higher education institutions and specialized vocational education organizations, honored guests also included partners from the industrial and manufacturing sectors. These organizations help combine students’ theoretical knowledge with practical experience and provide training opportunities for the development of professional skills.

The ceremonial event created a festive atmosphere and became a platform for promoting service to the country, honor, diligence, and patriotic values.
