Student of the Confucius Institute at Zhubanov University Wins the «Chinese Bridge» Competition
On May 21–22, the Kazakhstan regional final of the international “Chinese Bridge” competition was held. Alina Russyayeva, a student of the Confucius Institute at Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, won first place.
“Chinese Bridge” is an international Chinese language competition organized for school and university students. The project aims to improve participants’ language proficiency, promote Chinese culture, and strengthen international educational cooperation.
According to the results of the competition, representatives of the Confucius Institute achieved the following results:
Primary School Category
- Zhanabai Balzhan — 2nd place
- Kairat Adiya — “Best Presentation” nomination
- Kalimgali Aldiar — “Best Participant” nomination
School Students Category
- Alina Russyayeva — 1st place
- Ailana Ankapova — 2nd place
- Islamzhan Khaidarov — 3rd place
University Students Category
- Ilonna Abdullina — “Best Performance” nomination
- Asemai Kuanyshbek — “Best Participant” nomination
In addition, for the high level of organization of the competition, the Confucius Institute at Zhubanov University was awarded the title of “Best Leader.”
This international project contributes to strengthening friendly relations between Kazakhstani and Chinese youth, as well as increasing interest in the Chinese language and culture.
