Cooperation Prospects Discussed with Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics

A meeting of the Confucius Institute Council at the university was held with the participation of Council members, a delegation from Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics (People’s Republic of China), and staff of the Confucius Institute.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the activities of the Confucius Institute for the period from May 2025 to May 2026 and presented the work plan for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The parties also held detailed discussions on the further development of cooperation between the two universities. They reached a mutual agreement on expanding student and faculty exchanges, implementing joint research projects, strengthening cooperation at the master’s and doctoral levels, and developing the joint “2+2” educational program.

Council members noted that the decisions adopted during the meeting would contribute to the further development of the Confucius Institute and elevate educational, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and China to a new level.
