Pathway to International Experience
In the first half of the 2026–2027 academic year, a meeting was held with students who had been awarded grants to study for one semester at partner universities abroad under the academic mobility program.
During the meeting, Rector Laura Karabassova emphasized the importance of academic mobility for students’ professional and personal development, their integration into the international educational space, and the development of global academic experience and intercultural communication skills. She also wished the participants success in the upcoming academic period and presented them with certificates.
A total of 134 students applied for the academic mobility program. Following the selection process, 62 students with strong academic performance, achievements in research, creative, and sports activities, as well as active participation in university life, were selected to study at universities abroad.
The program participants will study at leading universities in Poland, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, China, South Korea, Türkiye, Latvia, and Georgia. These include Tongmyong University in the Republic of Korea, the Baltic International Academy in the Republic of Latvia, Maksim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University, and Belarusian State Economic University in the Republic of Belarus, which have recently established partnership relations with the university.
Under the academic mobility program, 107 students studied at universities in Spain, Lithuania, Türkiye, Poland, Malaysia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, China, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan during the 2025–2026 academic year, gaining valuable international academic experience.
