Professional Development and Methodological Transformation
From April 13 to 24, 150 members of the university’s teaching staff successfully completed a 72-hour professional development course entitled «Using Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools in Teaching and Research ».
The course explored the effective use of generative artificial intelligence technologies in teaching and research, the role and potential of AI tools in the educational process, and methods for applying them in scientific research. Participants also discussed the transformation of assessment systems in the context of advancing artificial intelligence, the development of assessment criteria and rubrics, and modern approaches to measuring students’ academic achievement.
The professional development program was delivered by Senior Lecturers Parassat Tazabekova and Ainur Bazarbayeva from the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University.
Upon completion of the course, all participants received standard professional development certificates.
