Certificates Awarded to Participants of the English Language Course for Faculty and Staff
As part of the initiative to enhance the language proficiency of faculty members and staff, 55 participants successfully completed a six-month English language course during the 2025–2026 academic year.
English language courses have been offered at the university on a regular basis since 2022. Over the past four years, more than 400 faculty and staff members have improved their English proficiency under the guidance of professional instructors holding internationally recognized CELTA and IELTS certifications.
As a result of these efforts, 31 scholars have completed research internships at leading research centers around the world under the “500 Scholars” program of the Bolashak Scholarship. Host institutions included Heriot-Watt University, Michigan State University, the University of Minnesota, the University of Reading, the University of Leeds (in the United Kingdom and the United States), as well as South-West University “Neofit Rilski” in Bulgaria.
In addition, the English language courses have contributed to strengthening the academic potential of young faculty members: approximately 100 instructors have been admitted to doctoral programs at national universities across the country.
